Bob Magaster – Assistant Scoutmaster

Bob MagasterBob is self-employed as a contractor, and is involved in various aspects of the construction industry, He is a carpenter and owns a concrete design company. His hobbies include camping, traveling, hunting, cooking, being a youth group mentor and sponsor at his church, and spending time with his family. Bob and his wife, Vicki, have three children: Ryan (an Eagle Scout), Jessica, and Dylan.

Bob was involved in Scouts as a boy but, due to a lack of good adult leadership, only made it to Second Class. He was determined to be there for his boys when they became involved in Scouts during grade school.

Favorite Scouting memories include the many summer camps he has attended and the Fall Harvestfest. He has enjoyed sharing the Scouting experience with his sons and the other boys in our troop. Scouting gives these “young minds full of mush” some discipline and commitment and teaches them lifelong skills.

He has completed Youth Protection and New Leaders Essentials for Scoutmaster training.
His cell phone number is 913.980.7591.
